The Pamplemousse Philosophy
Pamplemousse Bistro + Bar was conceived by husband and wife duo
Adrian Ling and Cleo Chiang-Ling. Pamplemousse, which means
grapefruit in French, opened on 1 December 2009 and aims to
captivate adventurous taste buds with unique recipes inspired by life
journeys and literal travels. Pamplemousse recipes draw inspiration
from Chef Adrian Ling's personal life and extensive travels, as well as
classical French techniques, to present a signature style unique to the
restaurant--where traditionally European dishes are infused with the
creative bold flavours of the region, and novel bistronomic creations
are complemented by the freshest available produce.

Adrian Ling completed a course in the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa,
Canada and did a summer stage at Saint Pierre, before progressing through the
kitchens of Senso Ristorante & Bar and Hediard Cafe-Restaurant.
Cleo Chiang-Ling / Owner
Cleo Chiang is a self-confessed foodie with a penchant for wine. Besides
attending numerous Parisian wine workshops, she also studied Burgundy wines at
Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne. With her background in marketing and keen sense
of aesthetics, she has played a large role in creating the Pamplemousse milieu.
